Thursday workout (easy)

My big race is in 1 week, now just tuning up for it with some short, quick intervals. Master's mile at Mt. Hood CC on the 31st of May. Then 6 hours later, pace a 5000 at Lewis and Clark for some very fast guys. Thankfully I just have to do 3 laps @ 65. Then Julius takes over through 3K. Then it's everyman for himself. Should be pretty exciting. My goal for the mile is 4:17.5 Workout: Warm-up 5 miles easy around Nike campus. 6 X 100 eemmhh 200--29.3/ 200 recovery----100--14.5/ 200 recovery 200--28.6/ 200 recovery----100--13.7/ 200 recovery 200--27.4/ 200 recovery----100--13.1/ 200 recovery 200--26.2/ 200 recovery----100--12.8 2mile recovery Felt fast and smooth. Hope to do well in 600 time trial Sat. (Goal--1:23.5) |
