Sunny day for running. Paced at Nike, then did a 1000 Time trial. All went well...just a bit windy though. Pace for the workout was 67-66-65-47-31... 800 (2:13.9) 600 rec. 600 (1:39.1) 400 rec. 400 (1:05.2) 300 rec. 300 (47.5) 200 rec. 200 (30.3) 1600 rec. 800 (2:23.6) 400 rec. 800 (2:24.1) 400 rec. 5 X 200: 30.5----30.3----30.1----29.8----29.8 (200 rec. on each) Cooled down 4 miles, then did a 1000 time trial. Goal was 2:35. Got out very well...settled in...then held on. Very hard effort, but happy with the results. 2:30.9. (57.9--61.5 (1:59.4)--31.5) Very happy that I still had some pop in my legs after the earlier workout. |
